چکیده

Herein, non-carbonized wood-based electrodes and separators with well-aligned channels excellent mechanical properties are developed for supercapacitors. To enhance the conductivity boost capacitance, Ti3C2 (MXene) nanosheets high electrical electrochemical activity loaded into wood cells via self-assembly triggered by fast evaporating water in suspension. By assistance of positive charged polydopamine microspheres large surface area, self-restacking can be avoided mass loading (50 wt%) achieved due to extra driving force absorption. Benefiting from conductive massive active sites multiple efficient transportation pathways charge carriers, as-designed free-standing electrode shows a areal capacitance 1060 mF cm?2 at 0.5 mA retention 67% 10 cm?2. Also, this is highly size-customizable, showing good ability industrially processed various shapes dimensions. Furthermore, an all-wood based supercapacitor Ti3C2/wood composites as two layers slice separator fabricated, presenting energy density 10.5 ?W h 389.9

An Electrochemical Investigation of Nano Cerium Oxide/Graphene as an Electrode Material for Supercapacitors

In this paper, the effect of cationic and anionic ion sizes on the charge storage capability of graphene nanosheets is investigated. The electrochemical properties of the produced electrode are studied using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) techniques in 3M NaCl, NaOH, and KOH electrolytes. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) is used to characterize the mi...

Reduced Graphene Oxide-Cr2O3 Nanocomposite as Electrode Material in Supercapacitors

In recent years, electrochemical supercapacitors have received considerable attention from many researchers. Metal oxides such as chromium oxide with high redox activity, high specific capacity, and excellent reversibility are suitable alternatives to ruthenium oxide in supercapacitor applications. In this study, first, graphene oxide (GO) was synthesized by the modified Hummers method. The syn...

Evaporation-triggered wetting transition for water droplets upon hydrophobic microstructures.

When placed on rough hydrophobic surfaces, water droplets of diameter larger than a few millimeters can easily form pearls, as they are in the Cassie-Baxter state with air pockets trapped underneath the droplet. Intriguingly, a natural evaporating process can drive such a Fakir drop into a completely wetting (Wenzel) state. Our microscopic observations with simultaneous side and bottom views of...

Thermochemically activated carbon as an electrode material for supercapacitors

The results of electrochemical studies of nanoporous carbon as electrode material for electrochemical capacitors (EC) are presented in this work. Nanoporous carbon material (NCM) was obtained from the raw materials of plant origin by carbonization and subsequent activation in potassium hydroxide. It is established that there is an optimal ratio of 1:1 between content of KOH and carbon material ...
